Bangladesh Hindu Budhhist Christian Unity Council holds peace rally in Jhenaidah

Bangladesh Hindu Budhhist Christian Unity Council, a platform of the Hindu, Budhhist and Christian community, held a peace rally and formed human chain in Jhenaidah town on Saturday morning aiming to maintain peace and unity among all and to perform their own religious and cultural activities independently. 

The rally started from Pairachatter in the town, paraded through the main roads and ended at the same venue.

Later, they formed a human chain. President of Jhenaidah district unit BNP Advocate MA Mazid, vice president Advocate Munshi Kamal Azad Pannu, organizing secretary Sajedur Rahaman Pappu, Hindu, Budhist, Christian Unity Council leaders Prahlad Sarker, Dipankar Ghosh and Pardip Ray spoke at that time.

The speakers said a group of people, taking advantages of the present political unrest, have been trying to damage the credibility of the sovereignty and creating divide among the people. They warned against all sorts of heinous activities so that each and every citizen irrespective of cast, creed and gender may enjoy their constitutional rights throughout the country without any interference from anyone.
