The shooting of the Indian part of the popular film 'Bangabandhu' about Father of the Nation Sheikh Mujibur Rahman has come to an end. This time its work is going to start in Bangladesh.
The shooting of the film will start in different parts of the country next September. Most of which will be scenes of Bangabandhu's huge public meeting and historic walk. The matter has been confirmed to several sources related to the film.
It is known that shooting in Bangladesh will start by September and October. The film may come out in December this year after completion of editing work.
Meanwhile, the shooting of the first lot of the movie ended on April 4 in Film City, Mumbai. Artistes flew from Bangladesh several times to take part in it. Last week, all the artistes returned to the country.
All of them have been informed about the next time of shooting. It has been asked to prepare accordingly. It is learnt that the rest of the film will be shot this time along with several public meetings in Dhaka and Gopalganj.
The film stars Arefin Shuvoo as Bangabandhu and Nusrat Faria as Prime Minister Sheikh Hasina's childhood character. Besides, Nusrat Imroz Tisha is playing the role of Riaz Ahmed and Bangabandhu's wife Fazilatunnesa Mujib as Tajuddin Ahmed.
Other important characters include Khairul Alam Sabuj (Lutfar Rahman), Dilara Zaman (Sahera Khatun), Sayem Samad (Syed Nazrul Islam), Shahidul Alam Sachchu (AK Fazlul Haque), Prarthana Dighi (Chhota Renu), Raisul Islam Asad ( Abdul Hamid Khan Bhasani), Gazi Rakayet (Abdul Hamid), Taukir Ahmed (Suhrawardy), Siam Ahmed (Shawkat Mia) and Misha Saudagar (General Ayub Khan).
The two states plan to release the film in 2021. The film, based on the biography of Bangladeshi architect Bangabandhu Sheikh Mujibur Rahman, is going to be the biggest canvas work so far.
