The National Bank Limited has launched Mujib Corner at its head office in the capita. Director and EC Chairperson of the bank Parveen Haque Sikder, MP, formally inaugurated the corner by cutting ribbon on Monday.
Managing Director (MD) of the bank C.M. Ahmed, AMDs M.A. Wadud and ASM Bulbul, DMDs Syed Rois Uddin, Md. Ekramul Haque, Arif Md. Shaheedul Haque, divisional heads from the head office and other officials were present on the occasion.
The bank authorities have taken the initative marking the birth centenary of Father of the Nation Bangabandhu Sheikh Mujibur Rahman.
The Bangabandhu Corner at head office of the National Bank is rich in books, pictures, documents and souvenirs on the life, work and ideals of Bangabandhu Sheikh Mujibur Rahman. Alongside the information on Bangabandhu and his ideology, the people can gain information regarding Bangladesh War of Liberation through visiting the corner.
