Bangabandhu Corner inaugurated at the Law Commission

To keep the memory of the Father of the Nation Bangabandhu Sheikh Mujibur Rahman alive and well, the Minister of Law, Justice and Parliamentary Affairs Anisul Haque inaugurated the Bangabandhu Corner, which was established for the preservation of rare photographs of Bangabandhu and his family and various books related to the life and work of Bangabandhu.

Chairman of Law Commission and former Chief Justice of Bangladesh ABM Khairul Haque, Member Justice ATM Fazle Kabir, Secretary of Legislative Parliamentary Affairs Department Md Mainul Kabir, Secretary of Law and Judiciary Department Md Golam Sarwar, judicial officials of various levels were present. He inaugurated the Bangabandhu Corner today (Monday) at the Law Commission located in the Judicial Administration Training Institute building in the capital. After the inauguration of Bangabandhu Corner, Law Commission Chairman Justice A.B.M. Khairul Haque prayed for the forgiveness and salvation of the departed souls of the father of the nation Bangabandhu Sheikh Mujibur Rahman who was martyred on August 15, 1975, Bangamata Begum Fazilatunnessa and other family members, four national leaders, Martyr Intellectuals Day and 30 lakh martyrs who were martyred in the Great Liberation War.

At that time, he was the President of Bangladesh. Abdul Hamid and Prime Minister of People's Republic of Bangladesh Sheikh Hasina wished good health and long life. Moreover, he made a special prayer to Almighty Allah that under the dynamic leadership of the Prime Minister, Bangladesh can move forward on the path of development ignoring all obstacles. Finally, he concluded the prayers and prayer by wishing for the peace and overall prosperity of Bangladesh and good health and long life of all present.

After the prayer, Law Commission Chairman A. B. M. Khairul Haque visited Bangabandhu Corner with the guests. After the inspection, Law Minister Anisul Haque signed the inspection book kept at Bangabandhu Corner with his comments. In his comments, he wrote that Father of the Nation Bangabandhu Sheikh Mujibur Rahman gave us freedom and constitution. Deep respect for him. His contribution is eternal. He will live in us forever.

The Law Commission established this Bangabandhu Corner in collaboration with the Public Works and Engineering Department.
