‘Bamboo fence’ in Kamalapur to prevent train journey without tickets

Bangladesh Railway Authority has taken various initiatives to make the passengers return home comfortably on the occasion of the holy Eid-ul-Azha .

Meanwhile, the sale of advance tickets for Eid journey has ended. And the post-Eid return advance ticket sale has started from Monday. The Eid journey will begin on June 12.

Railway officials are in a strict position to prevent ticketless passengers this time. Ticket checking will be conducted in several steps on entering the platform of the station. Passengers without tickets will be returned.

Railway officials say that there is no opportunity to travel on the Eid trip without a ticket.

At the capital's Kamalapur railway station, a bamboo fence has been erected in front of the entrance to the station platform. A total of 5 entry lines are made of bamboo.

Passengers should enter in a disciplined way through these lines. TTE ticket will be checked out at the entrance. Besides, railway security, police and RAB have set up separate control rooms. These control rooms will be kept open round the clock.

Besides, Kamalapur railway station has a total of 94 CC cameras at various locations. The entire station area is monitored from the station manager's office. The authorities have completed all preparations starting from cleanliness in the station area.

Kamalapur Railway Station Manager Mohammad Masud Sarwar said that everyone will work together to stop ticketless passengers at the station.We always try to ensure passengers safety, security and comfort.

‘We are trying our best so that the passengers can enjoy the Eid journey with comfort’ he added.
