Bangladesh Air Force (BAF) on Sunday observed the 43rd death anniversary of the former Chief of Air Staff Air Vice Marshal Muhammad Khademul Bashar, Bir Uttam with due solemnity. Air vice Marshal Bashar possessed the extraordinary dignity of commanding the No 6 sector during the War of Liberation of Bangladesh, said an Inter Service Public Relations (ISPR) press release here. BAF remembered the freedom fighter for his glorious contribution to achieving independence and building of BAF with due respect and honour. The brave pilot died on this day in 1976 in a tragic aircraft crash. On the occasion, milad mahfil was arranged at the mosques of all BAF Bases.
