Dhallywood popular singer-actor Tahsan Khan has gained a lot of reputation as a musician in the last zero decades. However, he could be seen occasionally in singing as well as acting. This time he is going to star opposite internationally acclaimed actress Azmeri Haque Badhon, the talk of the town after receiving a standing ovation at Cannes for the film titled ‘Rehana Maryam Noor’.
The actors are all set to share the screen in British-Bangladeshi director Sadik Ahmed's second venture titled ‘A Blessed Man’.
On Sunday night the news was confirmed by Tahsan Khan. He posted a video on his social media about their upcoming film saying, “I was about to leave for a concert but, before I left, I saw a cake came from Apple Box Films. I am doing this video to inform my fans, what I am going to do next, it’s a new film titled 'A Blessed Man' directed by Sadiq Ahmed opposite our favorite actress Azmeri Haque Badhon who has conquered the world with her performance. I still don’t know why Sadiq took me!. He is a very talented British director and has already arrived in the country. We had a meeting as well.”
“The screenplay is really awesome. I am very excited about the story of the film. We have seen Bengali movies in many ways, but Sadiq Ahmed's style of watching is completely different. My character has been a very challenging one. Almost everything is ready soon we will start shooting the film,” the actor further added.
On the other hand, actress Azmeri Haque Bandhon has also announced the same by coming live on facebook she said, "I will be starring in British Bangladeshi director Sadik Ahmed's second film titled ‘A Blessed Man’. Earlier, Sadik Ahmed directed ‘The Last Thakur’. I really liked the storyline but I absolutely loved my character in the upcoming project".
Badhon also revealed the reason behind her abrupt weight loss. "I am losing weight to fulfill the requirement of the character in my upcoming project," explained Badhon. However, she refrained from giving too much away about the character she is set to play.
