Bangladesh Agricultural Development Corporation (BADC) chairman Md Ruhul Amin Khan visited various activities of BADC Mymensingh district wing.
This inspection programme was carried out from 15 November 15 to November 16.
At this time, he also participated in the annual research review workshop organised by the Bangladesh Atomic Research Institute along with the workshop organised by the partner project.
Besides, BADC Chairman inspected the activities of irrigation wing including construction of pre-fabricated steel fertilizer warehouse under construction at existing fertilizer warehouse in Shambhuganj of Mymensingh district.
During the visit, he said that pre-fabricated steel fertilizer warehouses are being constructed in different parts of the country so that quality fertilizers can be properly stored in warehouses imported through BADC and supplied to the farmers.
Therefore, by following the prescribed drawing and design, he provided guidance to all concerned in the execution of the construction work while maintaining the quality of the construction material.
He also stressed the importance of taking action to ensure that farmers are not discriminated or harassed in obtaining agricultural materials and irrigation facilities.
