He said that ABM Mohiuddin Chowdhury of ChattalBir was a close companion of Bangabandhu and a brave freedom fighter. During his 17 years as mayor, he took Chattogram to unique heights. Along with the beautification of Chattogram, he took the healthcare and education sector of Chattogram to the peak of development.

Mohiuddin Chowdhury's greatest virtue was that he did not discriminate between the rich and the poor. He loved to feed people. Throughout his life, he did politics with the ideals of Bangabandhu. Only if Mohiuddin Chowdhury's life can be captured as an ideal, the political life will be meaningful and it can be placed in the hearts of the people. He wished for the forgiveness of the departed soul of Mohiuddin Chowdhury.
