An awareness meeting of stakeholders on “National implementation and complain prevention management of national accountability work planning 2023-24” was held at ASM Kamal Uddin Memorial Auditorium of Bangladesh Sugargroup Research Institute (BSRI) in Ishwardi Upazila on Wednesday.
BSRI DG Dr Md Omar Ali presided over the meeting. The main speaker of the meeting was Scientific Officer Dr Saida Khatun and the address of welcome was delivered by scientific officer Nur Alam Jim. Among others, BSRI Director (Research) Kuyash Mahmood, Director (TOT) Dr Mst Ismat Ara and chief Scientific Officer Dr Md Ataur Rahman spoke there.
Other speakers were- North Bengal Sugar Mills Managing Director (GM) Md Asadul Huq, Ishwardi Upazila Officer Agriculturist Mita Sarker, Natore Bagatipara Upazila Agri – Officer Dr Bhabchandra Rai, Boraigram Agriculture Extension Officer Mahadi Hasan, Ishwari Press Club Officer Abdus Baten, Northern Bee Famers Association President jahnagir Alam and bee farmer Shajahan Ali.
Besides scientific offices, scientists officials of different sugar mills, agriculture extension dept staff, NGOs workers, bee keepers and journalists were present in the meeting.
