The ruling Awami League has launched a three-day cleanliness campaign across the country for raising awareness and preventing dengue. The campaign began on Thursday. The campaign for second day will begin from at the party’s central office at Bangabandhu Avenue in the capital at 10:00 am today (Friday), says a press release issued on Thursday.
Awami League General Secretary and Road Transport and Bridges Minister Obaidul Quader along with other central leaders of the party will attend there. The cleanliness drives will be carried out in every ward of the city and other parts of the country. Obaidul Quader called upon the leaders and workers of his party to make the programme a success.
