Members of Border Guard Bangladesh arrested an assistant sub-inspector of police reportedly along with 400 Yaba pills From Yusufpur in Charghat upazila of Rajshahi.
The arrestee was identified as Panjab Ali, who was serving as assistant sub-inspector of Kakonhat police investigation centre. On the basis of secret information, the BGB patrol team on early Wednesday intercepted a motor-cycle and arrested Panjab along with 400 pieces of Yaba tablets, said Yusufpur BOP company commander Joynal Abedin.

Later, he was handed over to Charghat police station. A case was filed under narcotics control act.
He was sent to jail through court order on Wednesday morning, said Mohammad Jahangir Alom, sub-inspector of Charghat police station.
