An art competition was held in Noakhali on Tuesday. The competition was held on the occasion of the celebration of the birth centenary of Father of the Nation Bangabandhu Sheikh Mujibur Rahman. Noakhali Municipality arranged the programme.
More than 100 children from different primary and secondary schools took part in the art competition. The names of the winners will be unveiled on March 26. And the prizes will be distributed among the winners on the day.
At the art competition programme, Noakhali Municipality Mayor Shahid Ullah Khan Sohel said, “All the children should know the real history of the Liberation War. They should know Bangabandhu otherwise they won’t be able to know about independence of the country. The municipality arranged the programme to let every child know about Bangabandhu.”
