Army chief attends Corps of Signals Commanders’ conference

The Annual Commanders Conference of the Corps of Signals of the Bangladesh Army was held at the Signal Training Centre and School (STC&S) in Jashore Cantonment on Wednesday.

Chief of Army Staff General Waker-Uz-Zaman was the chief guest at the conference.

In his address, the Chief of Army Staff called upon all the members of the Corps of Signals to be ready to face the challenges of the 21st century by acquiring capabilities through modern and up-to-date training. 

During the exchange of views with the Corps of Signals officers, the Chief of Army Staff discussed various issues, including technical development, research, professional skills enhancement, and future plans for the Corps. 

In addition, the Chief of Army Staff laid the foundation stone of the 500-bed Army Medical College Hospital, Jashore, at Jashore Cantonment. 

The construction of this hospital will significantly contribute to the production of skilled doctors and ensure better medical care for retired army members and their families.
