Arifin Shuvoo, a well-known Bangladeshi actor, has announced his separation from his wife, Arpita Samaddar, after nine years of marriage. Shuvoo made the announcement on his official Facebook page late Wednesday night, July 31.
In his post, Shuvoo explained that he and Arpita had reached a mutual decision to end their marriage but remain friends.
He wrote, “Though I was hesitant to share personal matters, I believe it is important to let you know that Arpita and I have come to the understanding that we are better as friends rather than life partners.
We made this decision on July 20. From now on, we will live our lives according to our own terms but will continue to support each other as friends.”
Shuvoo also expressed his deep appreciation for Arpita’s support during a challenging period in his life. Earlier this year, Shuvoo’s mother, Khairun Nahar, passed away in January, which has left him feeling devastated. He shared, “I am forever grateful to Arpita for her support, especially in the wake of my mother’s death. My life has felt very empty since her passing. I hope that your prayers and love will help me find peace and health as I move forward.”
The actor concluded his message by extending his thoughts and prayers for those affected by recent tragic events in the country. He wished for peace and recovery for everyone impacted.
