Jashore Area Commander of the Army as well as the Commander of 55 Artillery Division Major General Mohammad Nurul Anwar on Monday inspected the activities of his personnel in Jhenaidah. He had visited the patrolling of the Army men when they were deployed in the area to maintain strict lockdown during the global havoc corona virus.
When this correspondent visited the town witnessed that the Army personnel abide other law enforcing agencies have been asking the people about their visit in the town. They were also advising them no to move without emergency work and maintain social distancing and using mask.
The senior Army official had discussed with the district and police administration about the corona situation. 88 Artillery division brigade commander Brigadier General Mohammad Manwar Hossain Khan, second East Bengal Regiment Commander Lieutenant Colonel Mohammad Morshedul Hasan, Jhenaidah deputy commissioner (DC) Mozibor Rahman, superintendent of police (SP) Muntasirul Islam, Jhenaidah municipality mayor Saidul Karim Mintu. Additional deputy commissioner (ADC) Selim Reza among others participated in the discussion with the Army officials.
Major General Mohammad Nurul Anwar had thanked the corona fighters who have been furnishing their duties with responsibility risking their lives when the global havoc corona virus had spread throughout the country. He expressed his hope each and everybody from his own corner will discharge duties to save the people of the country with humanity.
