Apurba, Tisha duo came back after 13 years with two special dramas of the recently concluded Eid festival. One of the dramas has been released on YouTube on May 21 directed by Mohidul Mahim titled 'Rock Rabindra' and Shihab Shaheen's 'Ahong' will be release on May 27. Production-distribution Company CMV is releasing both on the internet.
After the release of 'Rock Rabindra' on YouTube, the success of this pair seemed to win again. At least that's what you're going to guess from the YouTube comment. It is rare for an old successful couple to come back from the past and succeed in the glamor industry.
The play has crossed the million view mark on its first day of release on YouTube. Most of the comments of the audience are in favour of them after watching the drama, appreciating Apurba, Tisha on screen chemistry.
Mohidul Mohim was overwhelmed by the response of the audience. He said, ‘I always try to give the audience something good. When those spectators appreciate the work that is a big achievement for me.'
About the drama Apurba said, "I have done a few things this Eid due to the lockdown." One of my works is 'Rock Rabindra'. Ever since I heard its story, I thought it would be something different. So since it was published, I was ready for the praise that I am getting from the audience and colleagues! That's right, since I have not worked with Tisha for a long time, I was a little worried. I was wondering if the audience would accept us again. With that, we are getting a good response, we are relieved.”
Tisha said, 'Alhamdulillah, I am getting good comments about the work. The audience is expressing their love, to be honest; it is very good to see the response.’
Meanwhile, Apurba, Tisha’s another drama titled 'Ahong' will be unveiled on CMV's YouTube channel on Thursday May 27. It is believed that at least a dozen more dramas are being planned by various producers and production companies with this duo.
