Popular small screen actor Ziaul Faruq Apurba got married for the third time with Shyamma Dewan, a US citizen. His ‘Gaye Holud’ ceremony, pre-wedding programme, was held on Tuesday (August 31) at his Old DOHS resident in the capital. The wedding ceremony held on September 2 at a community center in Malibagh.
Confirming the news of his marriage, himself Apurba told the media, “I planned to invite everyone in the media at the wedding, but that was not possible due to Covid.”
“Later, I thought I would officially tell the news on September 3, the day after the wedding, sitting with my media friends, however, that did not happen. Many are whispering about the matter. So, I have to reveal this,” the actor added.
Apurba said, “I am getting married, not committing any crime. So there is nothing to hide about it,” Apurba further said, adding that he is getting into a “sacred relationship”, “I am really expecting everyone’s prayers and cooperation”.
Apurba’s wife Shyamma Dewan is a US citizen. Her ancestral home is in Lalmatia, Dhaka. They got married as per the decision of the two families. Apurba’s second marriage with Nazia Hassan Audity was ended on March 17, 2020. The star actor ended his long 9-year-long marriage by showing personal reasons.
It is to be mentioned that Apurba had earlier married Sadia Jahan Prova on August 19, 2010, and got divorced in February of the following year. On July 14 of that year, Apurba tied the knot with Nazia Hassan Audity.
