Sarjis Alam, Central Coordinator of Anti-Discrimination Student Movement, said that many fake coordinators have emerged like chameleons after August 5. They must be separated. The opportunistic character in them was, is, and will be in the future.
‘If they are not separated, the coordinators’ name and image will be tarnished. This is happening in many districts of the country’ he said these while speaking at a view exchange meeting with students and family members of those killed and injured in the anti-discrimination student movement of Madaripur on Friday morning.
Addressing everyone present at this time, Sarjis Alam said that the anti-discrimination student activists have the democratic right to form a new political party. But doing so in this mass-upsurge era will create division among themselves.
However, in the future, the people involved in this movement can do so if they want to form a political party, not on the platform of anti-discrimination student movement. But it is not the time to do that.
He also said that the misdeeds committed by Sheikh Hasina's government have been broken by the students' uprising. The opportunists of Sheikh Hasina's time are trying and plotting to create differences among the students. That's why everyone should be united.
Sarjis Alam said, if any of the students think of becoming fascist in the future or try to abuse their power, they will be expelled and legal action will be taken. Students participating in the movement will not be separated. Everyone will be together. Otherwise, the consequences will be worse.
