Jhenaidah district Ansar and village defense party (VDP) brought an awareness rally in the district town to protect the people from the ongoing mosquito-based havoc dengue.
The rally was brought from the office of the district commandant of the law enforcers on Wednesday noon that was ended at the same venue parading the main roads in the town.
They had distributed various handbills and leaflets to aware the commoners.
Ansar and VDP district commandant Ashiquzzaman when contacted told the Bangladesh Post that the mosquito-based disease has been spreading even in rural areas gradually and affecting the people alarmingly. As awareness and some precautions might protect the people, massive awareness should be conducted for a health environment free from dengue. He had advised each and every personnel of his department to communicate the information to each and every house through their manpower in the rural villages so that they could keep their house premises clean and health-friendly, district commandant Ashiquzzaman informed.
