The highly anticipated comedy series "Call Me Bae" has just released its trailer, generating buzz among fans. Starring Ananya Panday, the show promises a fresh dose of humor and fun. The series, produced by Karan Johar’s Dharmatic Entertainment and created by Ishita Moitra, is set to debut on Prime Video on September 6.

Ananya Panday takes center stage as Bella Chowdhury, affectionately known as Bae, a wealthy heiress from South Delhi. The story takes an interesting turn when Bae’s privileged life is abruptly disrupted. After her credit cards are maxed out and her family cuts ties with her, she moves to Mumbai and faces the challenges of living a middle-class life.

The trailer cleverly incorporates a humorous nod to Panday’s own background in the film industry. In one scene, a security guard says, "Your struggle is what our dreams are made of," a line reminiscent of Siddhant Chaturvedi’s famous remark. Bae’s playful response, "Where have I heard that one before?" adds a light-hearted touch to the narrative.

The series also features an impressive cast including Vir Das, Gurfateh Pirzada, Varun Sood, Vihaan Samat, and Muskkaan Jaferi. Directed by Collin D'Cunha, "Call Me Bae" is expected to be a delightful watch, combining comedy with a modern twist.

Ananya Panday’s recent work includes roles in "Kho Gaye Hum Kahan" (2023) and a cameo in "Bad Newz" (2024). She is also preparing for her next project, "CTRL," a thriller exploring the digital age.
