A large number of visitors throng the amusement spots to enjoy Eid-ul-Azha holidays in Panchagarh.
Many visitors with their family members from different areas crowded the amusement spots on the day after the Eid day to enjoy the happiness of the holy Eid-ul-Azha festivity.
The most favourite amusement centers in the district are- Himalaya Park, Maharaja Dighi, Mirzapur Shahi Masjid, Atowary Baro Aulia Mazar, Tentulia Picnic Corner, Bonbiter Eco Park, Mohananda Par, Banglabandha Zero Point and Rowshanpur Mina Bazar. Enthusiastic people of different ages were seen visiting the places. However, the monsoon disrupted a bit to the visitors of the long distances.
Abdul Jalil, a visitor from Nilphamari, said that he along with his family members came by a microbus to visit several entertaining places of Panchagarh. Among the amusement spots, the entertaining centers of Tentulia were the most attractive.
Abu Nayeem, Shafiq and Farman, residents of Tahkurgaon, said that they have come to Tentulia to enjoy their Eid holidays. They visited Banglabandha Zero Point, tea gardens, etc. However, they had to suffer due to the downpour.
Tentulia met office sources said 155.5 millimeter rain was recorded in last 24 hours.
Panchagarh Tentulia Tourist Police Zone sources said police patrolling has been strengthened to ensure safe visits of the tourists. However, police administration and highway police are active to control ‘DJ party’ and reckless motorcycle riding of the youths.
