Keshabpur Upazila Administration and Upazila Food Department in Jessore have inaugurated an internal Aman rice collection campaign on Thursday afternoon. UZ Chairman, Freedom Fighter Qazi Rafiqul Islam inaugurated the campaign of 363 metric ton Amon rice collection at the cost of Tk 36 per kg by cutting ribbon in the event as chief guest.
Upazila Nirbahi Officer (UNO) Nusrat Jahan presided over the event while, Jashore District Food Controller Liaquat Ali, Upazila Vice Chairman Palash Mallik and Upazila Press Club President SR Saeed were present as special guests. Among others, Upazila Agriculture Officer Mahadev Chandra Sana, Upazila Food Controller Laila Afroza, Acting Food Officer Abul Hassan, Upazila Food Inspector Rakibul Hasan were present at the time.
