Bangladesh’s non-resident ambassador to Estonia M. Allama Siddiki has presented his credentials to President Kersti Kaljulaid.
Siddiki is the resident ambassador of Denmark with the charge of Estonia. The Ambassador mentioned about the facets of socio-economic development in Bangladesh especially in the areas of ICT, poverty eradication, women empowerment, and religious harmony.
He also raised and discussed in brief the issues of mutual trade and investment, education cooperation, cultural exchange, and Rohingya repatriation with the President. Congratulating the new Ambassador, the President extended her warm greetings to the President and the Prime Minister of Bangladesh.
She assured all sorts of cooperation of the Estonian government in further strengthening the mutual ties existing between the two friendly countries, the foreign ministry in Dhaka said.
