The Ministry of Education has instructed the educational institutions of the country to observe the 163rd birth anniversary of the poet Rabindranath Tagore and the 125th birth anniversary of the national poet Kazi Nazrul Islam.
Director Generals of Directorate of Secondary and Higher Education, Directorate of Madrasa Education and Directorate of Technical Education have directed the institutions run under the Ministry to observe the birth anniversary of the two poets. On April 2, The Ministry of Culture took the initiative to celebrate 163rd birth anniversary of poet Rabindranath Tagore and the 125th birth anniversary of national poet Kazi Nazrul Islam
According to the guidelines, the birth anniversary of the Poet Rabindranath Tagore and National Poet Kazi Nazrul Islam must be celebrated by organizing cultural programs, discussion meetings, writing and recitation competitions in all the educational institutions of the country.
163rd birth anniversary of poet Rabindranath Tagore is on May 8 and the 125th birth anniversary of national poet Kazi Nazrul Islam on May 25 is directed to celebrate.
Following the instructions of the Ministry of Education, the Directorate of Madrasa Education on Monday ordered the principals, superintendents, and head teachers of the country's madrasas to compulsorily observe the birth anniversary of the two poets.
