Tahjb Alam Siddiquee Somi, MP from Jhenaidah-2 constituency, called upon Awami League activists to strengthen party for a better Bangladesh under the leadership of Prime Minister Sheikh Hasina. For this reason, each and every AL man should work together forgetting all little differences and barriers, he added.
He was addressing a rally of Dogachhi union unit of Awami League at Kalamankhali Bazar in Jhenaidah Sadar upazila on Sunday afternoon.
The unit president and former UP chairman Foyezullah Fayez presided over the rally, while it was addressed, among others, by Jhenaidah Sadar upazila AL president and upazila chairman Advocate Abdur Rashid, AL organising secretary Mahmudul Islam Foton and general secretary and chairman of Porahati Union Parihad Shahidul Islam Hiron.
Former chairman of Padmakar Union Parishad Bikash Biswas, AL leaders Khondakar Farukuzzaman Farid, Palash Hossain, Feroz Shahi, Biplab Hossain and Manir Hossain Mukul also spoke in the discussion, among others.
Tahjb Alam Siddiquee Somi said that the Awami League had to pay for internal feud and the anti-liberation forces had entered into party to fulfill their evil will.
He said that every soldier of Bangabandhu has to fight to
regain the people’s faith as desire by Prime Minister Sheikh Hasina as we have been marching towards a dignified country and its proud soldiers.
