Madhukhali upazila Awami League leaders cut the ripe paddy of farmer Faizur Rahman Quddus at the upazila in Faridpur at the call of Prime Minister Sheikh Hasina,
Madhukhali Upazila Parishad Chairman and Upazila Awami League President Ramija Moniruzzaman Bachchu inaugurated the paddy harvesting program at Mir Kapasetia village in Kamaldia Union of Madhukhali Upazila on Thursday morning.
Vice-Chairman of Upazila Parishad Md. Muraduzzaman Murad, General Secretary of Upazila Awami League Md. Rizaul Haque Bakul, Chairman of Kamaldia Union Parishad Md. Habibur Basar, President of Kamaldia Union Awami League A. Jalil along with others voluntarily cut ripe paddy of farmer Faizur Rahman Quddus’s 3 acres of land at Mir Kapasetia village and threshed it at his home.
Meanwhile, Madhukhali Upazila Parishad Chairman and Upazila Awami League President Ramiza Moniruzzaman Bachchu said, "People across the country could not harvest paddy due to the corona virus crisis."
Thinking about all those farmers, the Prime Minister called upon the leaders and workers of the Awami League to cut the paddy of the farmers. At the call of the Prime Minister, we are taking initiative to cut the ripe paddy of farmers in the Madhukhali Upazila. As a part of it, 3 acres of ripe paddy of farmer Faizur Rahman Quddus was cut on Thursday.
