The Fergana branch of Tashkent University of Information Technologies, named after Muhammad al-Khwarizmi, and the American International University-Bangladesh struck an agreement of cooperation recently.
Tashkent University director Farrukh Muhammadovich Muktharov and AIUB Board of Trustees founding member Hasanul A Hasan signed the agreement on March 25 on the TUIT campus at Fergana in Uzbekistan.
The provision of the agreement is cooperation between the two universities in the field of education and science, promoting the effective functioning of the higher education systems, as well as innovative, scientific, and technical partnerships in the implementation of joint programmes and publications of scientific research.
Besides, technical development cooperation, joint conferences, seminars and symposiums including exchange of leading scientists, academic staff and student are also included in the deal, said a press release.
