The American International University-Bangladesh (AIUB) proudly joined the QS Higher Ed Summit: Asia Pacific 2024, held in Macau from November 5 to 7. The summit, celebrating its 20th anniversary, focused on the theme ‘Shifting Landscapes, Collaborative Solutions: Pioneering Innovation in Asia Pacific Higher Education.’
The event gathered over 2,000 participants, including university leaders, government officials, and educational innovators, to discuss the evolving challenges and future directions of higher education in the Asia-Pacific region. The summit aimed to promote collaboration and explore innovative solutions in the sector.
Representing AIUB, Ms. Dulce Lamagna and Ms. Shania Abedin, members of AIUB’s Board of Trustees, actively took part in these discussions, offering valuable perspectives from Bangladesh’s higher education sector. Ms. Abedin also represented AIUB in post-summit activities at Lingnan University in Hong Kong. These events featured various keynote speakers and panel discussions on higher education’s pressing issues and goals.
