Agriculture Officer of Chirirbandar upazila of Dinajpur Md. Mahmudul Hasan donated his one moth’s salary along with Bengali new year’s bonus entirely to the poor amid corona crisis. He delivered the cheque of his whole salary to the charity fund of a local voluntary organisation named Kabbo. The agriculture official confirmed the information himself.
Agriculture Officer Md. Mahmoudul Hasan said that, food items will be distributed among the poor people who are unable to leave their homes and became unemployed due to the corona virus spread with the money. He also called upon all the rich, including those who have the power to stand by the helpless, to come forward with help.
“We have taken various initiatives to deliver food to the poor and the destotute in the fight against the corona virus. We are listing those who haven't received any relief aid and providing them with food from this fund”, said Durjoy Chandra Roy, the convener of the voluntary organisation Kabbo.
He also said that Chiribandar Upazila Agriculture Officer Md. Mahmoodul Hasan has set an example of generosity and kindness by donating the full amount of his one month salary to our relief fund.
