Dr. Abdul Moid, Director General of Department of Agriculture Extension (DAE), has said that the present government was working for the development of lot of the farmers. This country should be turned to a Golden Bengal of Bangabandhu through the development of the farmers.
Dr. Abdul Moid was speaking as the chief guest at a function organised by Ishwardi Agriculture Extension Department in observance of the Field Day held at Ishta village under Ishwardi of Pabna district on Friday noon.
Presided over by Azahar Ali, Deputy Director of DAE, Pabna, the welcome speech at the function was delivered by Abdul Latif, Agriculture Officer of Ishurdi. The function was addressed, among others by Rafiqul Islam, Principal of Agriculture Training Institute, Ishwardi, AKM Shahriar, Additional Director of DAE, Bogura, Mohammad Ali, Additional Director of DAE, Jessore, Abul Kalam Azad, Mayor of Ishwardi Municipality, National award winning farmer Shahjahan Ali, Nurun Naher Begum, Julhas Uddin and Anisur Rahman. Moid informed, no farmer will lag behind and the department of Agriculture will always remain beside the farmers.
