Agriculturist Day was observed at the Bangabandhu Sheikh Mujibur Rahman Agricultural University (BSMRAU) on Thursday (13 February) with festive mode. An elaborated programs also chalked out to mark the day.
The programme included rally, placing floral wreath and discussion. Vice-Chancellor of the University Prof Dr. Md. Giashuddin Miah led the rally and offered floral wreath at University’s Bangabandhu’s Mural. The Agriculturist day started with a colorful rally with the participants of students, faculty members, and agriculturist officers of the university. After the ceremony, Vice-Chancellor Professor Dr. Md. Ghiashuddin Miah also inaugurated the newly build main gate of Shaheed Tajuddin Ahmed Hall of the University.
Treasurer, Deans, Directors, Proctor, Provosts, Faculty members, Students and Provost of Shaheed Tajuddin Ahmed hall Prof. Dr. Emrul Kayesh were present at that time.
