The admission test for the agricultural cluster for the 2023-2024 academic year will take place on Friday, October 25, across the country. The test will be held in 9 public universities offering degrees in agricultural science. This year, a total of 75,017 students have applied for 3,718 available seats. As a result, about 20 students will compete for each seat.
This information was shared by the Vice-Chancellor of Chattogram Veterinary and Animal Sciences University (CVASU), Professor Dr. Mohammad Lutfur Rahman, during a press conference on Wednesday, October 23. He mentioned that CVASU is leading the organization of the agricultural cluster admission test, which involves 12 public universities, including Dhaka University.
The admission test will take place in 8 main centers and 3 sub-centers. The main centers include universities in Mymensingh, Gazipur, Dhaka, Patuakhali, Chattogram, Sylhet, Khulna, and Habiganj. The sub-centers are located in Dhaka University, Khulna University, and Chattogram University of Engineering and Technology (CUET).
Professor Rahman also stated that the admission test results will be published on October 30, 2024, and the physical admission process will be held from December 9 to December 12, 2024.
Present at the press conference were other university officials, including the treasurer, registrar, and proctor, as well as members of the technical committee for the admission test.
The nine universities participating in the agricultural cluster have a combined total of 3,718 seats, with universities like Bangladesh Agricultural University and Sher-e-Bangla Agricultural University offering the most seats.
