The integrated admission test for eight public universities that offer degrees in agricultural science for the academic year 2022–23 will be held today (Saturday).
Sylhet Agricultural University is leading this year in the joint admission test, according to a press release.
Apart from Sylhet Agricultural University, the other universities are Sher-e-Bangla Agricultural University, Bangladesh Agricultural University, Bangabandhu Sheikh Mujibur Rahman Agricultural University, Patuakhali Science and Technology University, Chittagong Veterinary and Animal Science University, Khulna Agricultural University and Habiganj Agricultural University.
This year, 81,219 candidates will participate in the admission test for a total of 3,548 seats. Around 23 students will participate per seat in the admission test. Admission tests will be held simultaneously from 11:30am to 12:30pm in a total of eight centres across the country.
All the preparations for the admission test have already been completed. A total of 7,500 candidates will participate at the Sher-e-Bangla Agricultural University centre and 10,042 candidates at the Jagannath University sub-centre and 26,817 candidates at the Dhaka University sub-centre.
