Agrani Bank MD lauds Bangladesh Post’s role

A meeting, between Editor-in-Chief of Bangladesh Post Sharif Shahab Uddin and Managing Director and CEO of Agrani Bank Limited Mohammed Shams-Ul-Islam, was held at the latter’s office at Agrani Bank Bhaban in the capital on Monday. At the meeting, the editor and the banker discussed various issues, including the issues related to the banking and media sectors. 

Mohammed Shams-Ul-Islam lauded the role of Bangladesh Post in providing positive news. He said that the daily is serving quality news to the readers. He thanked the Bangladesh Post authorities as well as the Editor-in-Chief for presenting a quality English daily in the country with a difference. 

The Agrani Bank MD said that the daily with its lucid and comprehensive language is playing a vital role in the development of positive thinking in the society. It is a very positive side that the Bangladesh Post is always working to accelerate the development projects and the government’s progress, he added.

He also said that they are happy with the Bangladesh Post as the daily publishes the news on banking sectors with due importance alongside the other sectors. 

Sharif Shahab Uddin also lauded the role of Agrani Bank Limited in upholding the spirit of Bangladesh War of Liberation and the ideals of Father of the Nation Bangabandhu Sheikh Mujibur Rahman. The bank has opened ‘Bangabandhu Corner’, allowing the general readers to read all publications on Bangabandhu, preserved in the library. It is a best imitative of the bank, he said.
