Nayeb-e- Ameer of Bangladesh Jamaat-e-Islami Prof. Mujibur Rahman urged advisers to adhere Islamic ideology and said that reforms should be brought among them if necessary.

He said these at a discussion on the occasion of the ‘World Teachers' Day’ organized by the Bangladesh Ideal Teachers Federation of Dhaka Metropolitan South at the National Press Club Auditorium on Saturday.

Alleging the previous government that destroyed the education and election system, Professor Mujibur Rahman said that when a teacher takes a job with a fake certificate, when 5 percent of votes become 55 percent, then there is no respect for that teacher or the quality of his education.

Therefore, Nayeb-e- Ameer urged everyone to be educated as well as to be characterful. At this time, he also demanded to make a proper salary structure for the teachers.

He also said that those involved in theft and corruption during the Awami League government were educated but without character.

Bangladesh ideal Teachers Federation President Professor Noor Nabi Manik presided over the discussion and other leaders were present at that time.
