Students will be assessed based on a total of 120 marks, with 100 marks allocated for the admission test and 20 marks based on secondary or equivalent and higher secondary or equivalent examination results.

Dhaka University has undergone a structural change in its admission test format since the previous academic year, reducing the units from five to four. This shift has also led to a renaming of the examination from the Bachelor (Honours) First Year Admission Test to the Undergraduate Program Admission Exam. This adjustment aims to streamline the admission process while maintaining the rigorous standards of academic excellence at Dhaka University.
