Published : 12 Aug 2024 09:53 PM

The Bangladesh Technical Education Board has extended the admission deadline for all ongoing programs, including HSC (BMT) and HSC (Voc). Students can now take admission until August 20. This extension was announced in a recent circular from the Bangladesh Technical Education Board.

The circular states that the new deadline applies to various programs under the Bangladesh Technical Education Board for the 2024-2025 academic year. These programs include the four-year Diploma in Engineering, Diploma in Textiles, Diploma in Agriculture, and Diploma in Fisheries in private institutions. Additionally, the two-year HSC (BMT) and HSC (Voc) programs in public and private institutions, as well as the Diploma in Commerce and Certificate in Marine Trade Courses, are also included in the extension. Students now have until Tuesday, August 20, to complete their admissions.

For any information regarding admissions, the board has provided contact numbers: 01322-830308 and 01322-830309. Students can reach out during office hours for assistance.

The board also mentioned that students who have confirmed their admission in government and private institutions for these programs will be informed later about the start date of classes. This information will be shared through another notification. Earlier, the decision to delay the admission process was taken during an inter-board coordination meeting due to the ongoing anti-discrimination student movement.

Students are advised to complete their admission process within the extended deadline to secure their place in the desired program. This extension provides an additional opportunity for those who may have missed the previous deadline.
