The School of Agriculture and Rural Development (SARD) at Bangladesh Open University (BOU) is now accepting applications for its MS programs in six subjects. These programs are designed to be completed in 18 months, spanning three semesters.
The courses offered are MS in Agronomy, MS in Entomology, MS in Soil Science, MS in Irrigation and Water Management, MS in Aquaculture, and MS in Poultry Science. Classes for the first semester (July-December) will be held on Fridays and Saturdays at the main campus in Gazipur. This schedule is convenient for working professionals. The fee for the application form is one thousand Taka, and the deadline for submission is July 2. The admission fee is 18,800 taka.
For MS in Agronomy, Entomology, and Soil Science, candidates need a four-year Bachelor's Degree in Agriculture or B.Sc in Agriculture. For MS in Irrigation and Water Management, a four-year Bachelor's Degree in Agricultural/Civil/Water Resources Engineering is required. For MS in Aquaculture, a four-year Bachelor's Degree in Fisheries Science is needed, and for MS in Poultry Science, a four-year Bachelor's Degree in Animal Husbandry is required.

The application deadline is July 2. The list of shortlisted candidates will be published on July 4. Admit cards can be collected from July 7th to 13th. The oral test will be held on July 14 at 10 am, and the merit list will be published on July 15th. The admission period is from July 16 to August 14, and classes are expected to start on August 23.
