Adah Sharma is all set to return as Bhavna Reddy in the third installment of ‘Commando’. The actor says that her character turns meaner in this film, and for that she had to undergo training. She says, “In the last part, I played a corrupt cop who is strange and funny. This time, there is a streak of comedy in my character, but the role also has a serious tone to it. The film requires me to do action, for which, I learnt martial arts. This time around, I have trained harder.”
Speaking about the art forms she learnt, Adah says, “I learnt Indian martial art forms Kalaripayattu and Silambam.”Ask her if her co-star Vidyut Jammwal, who’s well-trained in Kalaripayattu, taught her some moves, and she says, “He encouraged me on the set, but it was my mother who trained me in it. I also enjoyed doing Silambam where you fight using a long, thin stick.” While Kalaripayattu originated in Kerala, Silambam is from Tamil Nadu. Both the art forms were practised by the warriors. She also learned to fight using Nunchakus. The actress even practices it in her vanity van during the shoot.
The actress is happy that she will be a part of many interesting action sequences in this film, which will give her a chance to show off her skills. In real life, too, Adah loves adventure sports and is always ready to give such activities a shot.
