About 69PC are new voters

Bangladesh Football Federation (BFF) election is almost full of new, as most of the voters of the last three elections are absent this time. The image of the voter list of BFF election has also changed. Out of 133 finalised, only 42 were voters in the last 2020 election. The remaining 91 people are new this time that is about 69 per cent of total voters.

In 2020 from eight divisions, five were new and only three councilors who have voted as old. The District Football Associations have 27 councilors who were voters in 2020. The rest of 64 are new this year.

Voters have changed a lot in the clubs. Out of the all clubs those were voters in 2020, 17 are not registered with BFF this time. But 18 new clubs have been added there. There are two councilors of the clubs who were in the last election; they have also become voters by changing the club memberships this time.

The clubs that had councilors in the last election are Sheikh Jamal Dhanmondi Club, Sheikh Russell Krira Chakra, Saif Spotting Club, Muktijoddha Sangsad Krira Chakra, Agrani Bank SC, Dhaka City Football Club, Kaowran Bazar Pragati Sangh, Friends Social Welfare, Dhaka United. SC, Khilgaon Football Academy, Azampur Football Club, Tongi Krira Chakra, City Club, Gouripur Sporting Club, Kadamtala Sangsad, Saif Sporting Club Youth Team, The Muslim Institute, Tangail Football Academy.

The clubs that got new councillorship in this election are - Fortis Football Club, Uttara Football Club, Little Friends Football Club, Kallol Sangha, Bikrampur Kings, Jabid Ahsan Krira Chakra, King Star Sporting Club, Chowkbazar Kings, Ilyach Ahmed Chowdhury Smriti Sangsad, Skylark Football Club, FC North Bengal, Green Welfare Center Munshiganj, FC Brahmanbaria, Asaduzzaman Football Academy, Nasreen Sports Academy, Ataur Rahman Bhuiyan College Sporting Club, Bangladesh Army Sporting Club and Sadyapuskarani JSC.

There were 139 voters in the 2020 election. This time there are no councilors of six districts. Jashore and Satkhira have not received any names from those two places due to the case regarding DFA. Later, Gopalganj, Feni, Lalmonirhat and Sherpur were excluded from the scrutiny. Election will be held on October 26.
