Former Cabinet Secretary ASM Abdul Halim has been appointed as a Director and the Chairman of the Board of Directors of Bangladesh House Building Finance Corporation (BHBFC)
The Financial Institutions Department of the Ministry of Finance, through a notification issued on 8 September, appointed him as the same for the next three-year period.
Previously, he served as one of the directors of BHBFC during 1999-2000.
After serving as the Secretary of the Ministry of Jute and Textiles, Agriculture and Establishment, lastly, Abdul Hamid was made Cabinet Secretary.
He also served in the former Anti-Corruption Bureau and as a director and chairman of various organizations and corporations.
