AB Bank has donated Tk. 2 crore to the "chief advisor's relief and welfare fund" under it's CSR programme to support the flood affected people in different parts of the country.
The founder Chairman of the Bank, the members of the board of Directors and shareholders of the bank have contributed to this fund. All the employees of the bank and its subsidiaries have also participated by forgoing their one day's salary.
Syed Mizanur Rahman, Additional Managing Director along with Shawkat Aziz, Chief Business Officer of AB Bank handed over the cheque to Faruk E Azam, Bir Protik, adviser, Ministry of Disaster Management and Relief.
