From there, at around 10 pm, 3 hours after leaving for Atrai, the party realized that they had lost their way. At that time they could not identify their position in any way. Meanwhile, as the weather warning signal No. 3 was issued all over the country and seeing the dire condition of the challan bill, they fell into the terrible thought of saving their lives. At that time, one of the traveling group named Piyas Sarkar called 999 and informed about the danger of life of 40 people and asked for help.
He later informed the officer-in-charge of Singra police station from 999 and informed Natore Superintendent of Police Liton Kumar.
Later, on the instructions of the Superintendent of Police, five teams of Singra and Gurudaspur police launched a 40-member rescue operation.
Later, with the help of modern technology and LIC, Dhaka, first in Bildahar of Singra and later in Jogendranagar area of Gurudaspur, the police rescued a group of 40 adventurers who lost their way. Later, the police showed them the right way and left them at the border of Atrai.
