Some 86,688 more citizens were inoculated with the first dose of Covid-19 vaccine on Saturday raising the total number of the first dose recipients to 83,85,727 in Rangpur division.
"Among the 86,688 new first dose recipients, 57,377 were inoculated with AstraZeneca Covid-19 jabs, 29 with Sinopharm Covid-19 jabs and 29,282 others with Pfizer Covid-19 jabs on Saturday," said Divisional Director (Health) Dr Abu Md Zakirul Islam at 8:55 pm.
The total first dose recipient 83,85,727 citizens include 27,60,844 people vaccinated with AstraZeneca Covid-19 jabs, 51,85,260 people with Sinopharm Covid-19 jabs, 1,31,849 with Moderna Covid-19 jabs and 3,07,774 with Pfizer Covid-19 jabs.
Meanwhile, the number of the second dose recipients of Covid-19 vaccine rose to 57,18,756 with inoculation of more 35,337 people with the second dose of the jabs today in the division.
Among the 35,337 second dose recipient citizens, 15,171 people were inoculated with AstraZeneca Covid-19 jabs, 18,179 with Sinopharm Covid-19 vaccine and 1,987 with Pfizer Covid-19 vaccine in the
division on Saturday.
The second dose recipient 57,18,756 citizens include 12,37,948 inoculated with AstraZeneca Covid-19 jabs, 43,07,421 with Sinopharm Covid-19 jabs, 1,25,779 with Moderna Covid-19 jabs and 47,608 with Pfizer Covid-19 vaccine.
Besides, the number of the booster dose recipients of Covid-19 vaccine reached 40,856 people with the inoculation of 5,668 more citizens with the booster dose of the Covid-19 jabs on Saturday in the
division.
"The 40,856 booster dose recipients include 38,848 people vaccinated with AstraZeneca Covid-19 jabs and 2,008 with Pfizer Covid-19 jabs," Dr. Islam added.
