7th death anniversary of Sumon Ahammed Ranjan, a renowned cultural personality of Kishoreganj, 1st class composer and music director of Bangladesh Television and music instructor of District Shilpakala Academy was observed in Kishoreganj. On this occasion, Doa, Milad Mahfil and food was distributed among the orphans. Sumon Ahammed Ranjan, one of the brightest stars in the cultural history of Kishoreganj, passed away on March 7, 2015 on the way to eternity. He was born in 1955.
To commemorate the day, The Daily Bangladesh Post's District Correspondent Sajan Ahammed Papon organized Doa and Milad mahfils at various mosques and madrasas in Kishoreganj on Monday after Johar.
