Total 7 projects from Noakhali Science and Technology University's (NSTU ) teachers have been selected for the research grants of the Ministry of Science and Technology.Total 16.50 lakh research grants will be provided for 7 projects.
On 18 December,this information is known from list published in the website of the Ministry of Science and Technology.The projects have been selected under Science and Technology Program for the financial year 2021-2022.
According to the list of ministry, the names of 14 NSTU teachers is also published for the 7 selected projects.Among them, 3 from the Department of Fisheries and Marine Science, 2 from the Department of Applied Chemistry and Chemical Engineering, 2 from the Department of Biotechnology and Genetic Engineering,2 from Biochemistry and Molecular Biology, 2 from Agriculture, 2 from Environmental Science and Disaster Management and 1 from Oceanography.
It is to be mentioned that the special research grants for research projects under 'Science and Technology' were given by Ministry of Science and Technology which was started from the fiscal year 1977-1978.
This research grant is given to MS, MPhil, PhD and post-doctoral level students and researchers studying / researching in public universities / research institutes.
