A seven-day district-based karate training camp was inaugurated in Munshiganj on Sunday.
A total of 50 trainees are taking part in this training camp which is being held at Munshiganj district indoor stadium.
President of Bangladesh Karate Federation and Commissioner of Anti-Corruption Commission Dr. Md. Mozammel Haque Khan inaugurated the training camp as the chief guest.
Deputy Commissioner (DC) of Munshiganj Md Moniruzzaman Talukdar presided over the inauguration ceremony.
Superintendent of Police (SP) of Munshiganj Abdul Momen, General Secretary of the South Asia Karate Federation Md Moazzem Hossain, Mayor of Munshiganj Municipality Haji Mohammad Faisal Biplob and Vice President of Bangladesh Karate Federation Iqbal Hossain were present as special guests.
At the end of the seven-day training, the trainees will be given certificates.The concluding session will also be held in Munshiganj.
