The three-day long 6th National Math Olympiad-2019′ began at the Jahangirnagar University (JU) campus on Friday. Securing the slogan ‘Vabna Jodi Ganit Hoi, Ganit Niye Kiser Voi’, Jahangirnagar University Science Club (JUSC), the lone science-based organization of the university has organized the programme for the sixth time in a row. The chief adviser of JUSC, Professor Khabir Uddin inaugurated the contest at JU School and College premises in the morning. This year, around 5,000 students of class VI to XII from over 200 schools and colleges across the country took part in the contest.The prize-giving ceremony of the contest will be held on October 20 at Zahir Raihan auditorium on the campus.
