Two patients died at the Corona unit of Rajshahi Medical College Hospital during the last 24 hours period ending 8-00 AM Wednesday. Of the dead, one is of Rajshahi and the other is from Naogaon district.
RMCH sources informed, six new patients have been admitted to the Corona unit of the hospital while three persons were released after treatment during the last 24-hr period.
A total of patients are under treatment at Corona unit till 8-00 AM Wednesday.
It is learnt by testing samples of 273 persons, 67 were found Corona positive of Tuesday. The rate of infection is28.27 percent.
Meanwhile, Dr Nazma Akhter, Asstt Director, Health, Rajshahi div, informed that the number of Corona infected patients have increased in Rajshahi div during the last 24-hr period. Before 8-00 AM on Wednesday, 286 new Corona patients were detected during the last 24-hr whereas 177 persons were tested positive of Coronavirus during the 24-hr the day before.
Of the infected till 8-00 AM Wednesday, 87 are in Rajshahi, nine at Chapainawabganj, 94 at Bogura, 29 at Naogaon, 20 at Natore, 17 at Joypurhat, 32 at Sirajganj and 18 at Pabna districts.
During the same period, one Corona patient died and 51 were recovered.
